Well almost an all girls' weekend...baby boy Myles was along for the ride : )
I know I am getting things out of order, but....
A few weeks ago, Coley, Carly, Allison W., and I met in Memphis and crossed the Mississippi to stay with our dear friend Allison Bradsher for a much needed Beach House Reunion! It was so refreshing to be with best friends and to have a couple of days devoted to long talks and lots of laughter...it was like an extended slumber party! There is just something to be said for the relationships you share with college friends and roommates. It's been difficult for all of us to transition these past couple of years into new cities and new lives that can feel so separate from one another. These girls are so much a part of my heart and who I am, I still miss living with them every day (though I wouldn't trade married life with Andy for anything!). Fortunately, we are all still really close and love walking with each other through life's new chapters...and we are always looking forward to the sweet time we get to spend together during our "reunions". I'll always hope for the day when we can live in the same city and share everyday life together again (and we have a start--Allison Warmack just moved 2 blocks away from us. It's so fun!!). Here are a couple of pictures from the trip...all of which I stole from Allison's Facebook since I can't upload the pictures I took yet.
