we got our tree the day after we got back home from thanksgiving traveling, but i am just now getting around to posting pictures of it. it was such a cold night, but we bundled up our little reindeer anyway and set out to find the best fraser fir ever. we chose our tree in record time at none other than home depot. we both could (and have) spend a long time meticulously examining trees, but not this year with a newborn in tote. andy thinks it's our best pick yet. and myles would not disagree. he is enthralled with it! his eyes stay fixed on the shiny lights. i'm certain he will love it more next year--i keep thinking of the ornament catastrophes we will face with a toddler : )
still trying to find a myles stocking. for now, remy gets to stay in the middle much to her delight.
erin got these cute star ornaments for us in birmingham, and i absolutely love them! wish i had a better picture.
and what christmas tree would be complete without your childhood ornaments? it's always funny getting ours out, because the ones i kept from my parents' tree are cute and/or made by me as a kid, and andy's favorites from growing up are sometimes cute, but mostly creepy. this guy snuck all the way to front and center. he lived there for a night, then had to find a new home towards the backish.

Heyyyy, don't be dissin' my family's Christmas ornaments! You might end up with another shipment of them! The tree looks so pretty, and the little reindeer is the cutest!
love,
G.
sorry, i think andy cleaned you out of all the goofy ones. really i love them though--decorating wouldn't be nearly as fun without them. can't wait to see your tree this year!
