Obviously, being a more diligent blogger was not one of my New Year's resolutions. You know it's been a long time when your blog address is no longer stored in your computer's history. Really it's one of those things where there is so much to say and so many pictures to upload that it overwhelms me and I shut down...similar to how I manage the frighteningly large piles of laundry which are a staple at our house.
Anyway, here's a quick recap of Christmas '08:
-Two whole weeks in Memphis!, split between our fams. We are so grateful for the time we had with them and for how good they are to us. We don't deserve it and we never tell them enough how thankful we are. You spoiled us once again--I truly felt like I was on vacation. It was wonderful! Thank you so much for loving us so well.
-My birthday: aka hilarious flop of a day. had revelation that i don't get a day all about me anymore.. pretty stupid that i fell for that lie considering a) we have a little one and every day is his day--rightly so and b) i was born 2 days before christmas. i did get some great gifts though, so why am i complaining? Thanks everyone!
-Andy was in one of his best friends' weddings and we left Myles overnight with Nana and Peep (you can laugh at that name--I do, every time.) not once, but twice! and he did awesome.
-Buffalo Wild Wings (affectionately referred to as B-Dubbs by Andy)--yes, for some unknown reason, we went there like three times in a week. It was RIdiculous. I don't even like that place, but for some reason it kept beckoning. Conspiracy theory 1: some addictive substance such as crack in the hot sauce?
I could keep droning on about Christmas events, but how about a photo montage instead?
